Hi guys first post, I recently started keto and things are going okay so far cooking my own meals and watching my macros. The only problem is 5 nights a week I work in a Chinese takeaway. We get a free dish at the end of each night and I don't want to miss out on free food so I was wondering what options may be considered keto. I realise that all rice and noodles are out of the window, as most sauces and battered meats. I have already brought them a bottle of tamari soy sauce for them to cook my meals with. Things I've tried so far; Deep fried dry pork ribs (no sauce) Deep fried shredded lamb Mongolian lamb (deep fried lamb, sauce is just sarsons vinegar, garlic and soy) Crispy duck (no pancakes, no hoy sin) Egg fried cauliflower rice Stir fried beansprouts and mushrooms They have plain fried chicken, beef, char sui pork and prawns available without batter or sauce. The chefs don't mind changing the menus lightly or me bringing a slightly different ingredients like courgette noodles or cauliflower rice. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
